Well Arsenal will go into the second half with a 2-0 lead, some impressive stuff here and there with a chance to see Ryo and Carl in action.

Thoughts so far are as follows, Car looks quite impressive with his speed and strength dealing with left winger of the Malaysian XI side. His distribution seems to be quite decent as well so looking promising at the moment.

Ryo has looked quite sharp and bags loads of skill and pace, something Arsenal love and now have, although young we shouldn’t put too much expectation and let him develop into a great player. The Verminator has looked quite commanding and having given the Captains armband he’s doing pretty well and has put in some well-timed challenges. Ramsey plays a beautiful ball to Walcott to finish off with a nicely timed lob over the Malaysian goalkeeper and of course he steps up to take the penalty awarded by a driving Wilshere into the opposing box.

We should expect a vast amount of changes in the second half as you can tell it’s quite humid out there and the players look a bit tired, nonetheless it has been a good start to our pre-season and we should expect bigger and better things to come up until the start of the 2011/12 EPL campaign.

Yours Goonerly.
