One For The Future Or...?

So as reported by many of the Arsenal blogs out there that we are very close to announcing the signing of yet another youngster named Joel Campbell, from what i know Joel is a left footed central striker/ winger who is 18 years of age. hes played a lot recently for his national side Costa Rica tallying up quite an amount of goals, which is a good sign of course

The president of Deportivo Saprissa, Juan Carlos Rojas, confirmed a few minutes ago that the National Front Joel Campbell, would go to Arsenal. In the coming days would be signing the signing was over $ 1.5 million. According to the official figures were higher from other teams, however, said that this is the club with the most “famous” it would be “very beneficial for him (Joel) and for the country.” Listen to the full statements of the leader Juan Carlos Rojas Saprissa.

The quote above comes from the ADN Radio station interview with the Deportivo Saprissa President. This brings our tally up to 3 players signed during the summer transfer if this report is true, would like to give credit for being the first to quote the story we will just have to wait and see if clarify it on the Web.

Moving on from that there are plenty of sources quoting Denilson will be on the move, Yippeeeeee cant reiterate my pure hatred of the lack of being able to track back from this guy or should i say no effort in trying, simply time and time again we have watched him concede the ball to the opposition and stroll bag with a worthless attempt to get it back, its reported he will go back to the club we first signed him from Sao Paulo, good news for us we shall see if it is for them, probably best suited for him in brazil.

A quick note from what i noticed in yesterdays game, Kos looks like he’s becoming very comfortable partnering Vermaelen at the back, the both seem to be complimenting each other in that position both have great on ball technique and very good in the air with no lack of pace at all, will be interesting to see if Wenger sticks with these two for the new season or if and when a new Centre Back comes in and who, what changes will be made. Some notable performances from our new youngsters also, a bright future ahead of them all, but we’ve heard that all so often. Time for Wenger to bring out the real cheque book and get some Top Class Players to mentor these boys.

Lastly there were some notable banners made by the Chinese Arsenal fans which were very amusing and top notch including the one below;

Isnt that a treat aye.

Plenty more of those from the Asia tour also, would be nice to see those kind at the Emirates next season for a few laughs and statement of the fans views.

Thats all for today hope you enjoy the Rain/Sun the weather just wont make its mind up today.

Yours Goonerly.
